ReplyDeletePlease check out Mark Robert's blog for Monday, October 6. He is the former pastor of the Presbyterian Church in Irvine, CA and has been writing a series on "The PC(USA) and Church Property" in his blog.
The blog on 10/6 deals with the "gracious" offer of $1.75 million that EOP is extending to the Kirk to buy its property.

Meanwhile, at the hearing involving the Kirk property decision on Monday, the judge did not issue his final decision and set another hearing date on November 4.
This means nothing is finalized yet and the stay is still in effect.
There may or may not be a vote by Kirk members on October 8 to accept or to reject the EOP offer to buy the property.
This whole situation has been confusing and gets more confusing with each hearing.
Please pray for God's guidance and unity in Him for the Kirk staff and members.
