Oakfield 1st (now OCBC) buys back original building at autcion.

  • OCBC ended up buying the two parcels for $50,000 at a March auction.

    Its amazing how the people of the town willingly gave time, talents and materials to help renovate the church after the Presbytery failed to do the minimum necessary to preserve the building. Many of those were not members of the church.

    What did the Presbytery get, $50K and a very nasty reputation in the area, as witnessed by the aforementioned donations by non-members within the city.
