I sent an email to Christian Post, asking them to not use the phrase "Dissident Presbyterians" when referring to those trying to leave the PCUSA.
I explained that it was a matter of perspective who is the dissident. We who want to leave, believe the leaders are the dissidents. The leadership is the one who is attempting to force change in the denomination without the permission of the local churches. As an example, the chastity clause, passed by 70%-30%.
Today I notice they have changed the title of recent articles by replacing dissident with conservative. A friend of mine pointed out that a better "label" would be moderate, as we are the majority (70%) and not a fringe minority that some associate with "conservative".
