GAPJC says Presbteries have Right to Act Like Dictators!
They also fail to address the rights of association as guaranteed by the US Constitution.
So, what can a congregation do to vote whether or not to secede? Do they have an open meeting, one not called by the Session, but one called by a member of the church? Would any vote there be binding on the Session?
What kind of recourse does this GAPJC ruling give a congregation for finding out what the congregation wants to do ??
I'm very surprised that the vote was unanimous, and that those conservatives and well as liberals on the PJC would say that any congregation could not decide what to do.
No surprise here, eh? The institution holds preserving itself above all other principles. Fascism descends upon a once great denomination.

What bothers me here is that the GAPJC tended to ignore previous findings that I easily found by doing a search of the online BOO.
