EOP approves Kirk, keeps B

The Eastern Oklahoma Presbytery voted to extend the closing date on Kirk. The delegates were told the legal paper work was not ready and this was the final papers.

They also voted 49-56 (105) to turn down the change in the Fidelity/Chasity clause, G-6.0106b.

According to the Layman in 2001/2002 the vote was 43 - 86 (129). I know Kirk had 5 votes.

  1. Jim,

EOP was not told that there were no other changes. They were told that title insurance had been added. They were also told that the document approved in September was only an outline and that what was now on the table was the full legal document, approved by all parites and their attorneys. There were copies of the agreement available at the meeting and now (as you noted previously) also posted on the Kirk website.
