- The church is approximately 100,000 sq. ft.
- With a parking garage in a prime Tulsa location.
- the facility is in excellent shape and completely furnished.
- Using a Rental rate at $12 per square foot.
- Which would be below the commercial rate in the area for Class A space
- seeks to gain control of its financial assets when the suit was filed in 2006 ($52,218.09)
- The presbytery also wants the Kirk to pay its legal costs. $500K?
- The presbytery also wants Breach of Contract Damages $??
I beg Kirk to put all of the INFO on their website so the rest of EOP may judge its leaders and hold them accountable.

To paint all of EOP with the broad stroke, includes me. I am an "past" Elder, though not a delegate. EOP LEADERS have been hiding facts, cleverly manipulation motions, hiding behind an AC.
However, I have been praying and meditating where to stay with my "Evangelical" PCUSA church or not. I have certainly considered disavowing my Elder vows, just to make a point to my session.
Jim -
The rent would be charged (as well as the TBD breach of contract amount) if the Kirk does not settle. As I understand it, the settlement amount is unchanged. The EOP legal costs are contained within the 1.75MM.
According to a delegate to EOP.
They had a small group meeting about it for a hour. Then in assembly for another hour. Many delegates wanted to stick Kirk with $10 million. Greg said the church was only worh $4-$5.
There was not talk of alternatives.
The amounts mentioned in comments were not talked about. (Don't Ask, Don't Tell)
Many of the delegates only showed hate and anger, NEVER the love of God.

Their cash cow has left the building, how dare they!! We need to soak them for as much as we can.
If I was a member of the Kirk, I'd just hand over the keys and say, here you go. See you at the appeal !!
"just hand over the keys and say, here you go. See you at the appeal"
If it were only so easy.
If they leave and appeal, OK law requires a bond of the possible judgment. In this Case:
$2.5M Rent
+ $52K Cash (at time of leaving)
+ $500K Legal fees
+ ?? breach of contract
============================
$3M - $4M (10% bond fee=$300,000)
